Just a thought about Filmfare and SRK:

This magazine was 'hot' when it came to ShahRukh...poor Jitesh also had the 'hots' for SRK (until he got made it clear that 'ass-kissing' landed him nowhere - and he joined another camp - more ass.kissing inclined).

So, honestly, SRK even didn't need to help rigging whatever, he was run after in any way possible...and he delivered as entertainer (host) and 'rockstar' (part of his job-profile).

And when the pretending of appreciation stopped (from TOI-side), he still delivered as an entertainer but distanced himself from the magazine (he did not give one single interview to them since more than 8 years).

That is much more (ethically) as can said about Karan & Co...

Same feeling to me...he has become too much of a 'slimy' and fake person...

SRK as ShahRukh will still have a place for him in his heart...like an elder brother may not quit the love he once felt for the younger one...but it's up to KJo to change (which everybody has the possibility to do at every moment in life)...and focus on some other values as those he seemed to have focussed on since more than 10 years (imo, only imo).

I can't figure out what's funnier: SRK fans insisting awards are rigged because he didn't win, even though he won them for less impressive performances in the past, or the two or three Rani fans fuming because she didn't score the main award.

Although I don't like the way to generalize "hypocrisy" for the whole industry (and the people working in it), I deliberately agree that FF and its awards are a glaring example of hypocrisy...well, it's a Media conglomerate that gives them...

Actually, I think that Vicky isn't interested in the award but much more in the appreciation he got from audience's side...and the fact that all his team members gave him this possibility to shine in a quite small role (but important for the story)

To me, it was a treat to watch how everybody else from the ensemble cast focussed on him...this fact was a highlight of the making of the movie, imo.

That's a bit 'hollow' to focus on, imo.

that was a remake this is an original film. huge difference.

now people have issue with filmfare. srk got for ddlj kuch kuch hota hai dil to pagal hai and it was alright. i dont understand this hypocrisy. ddlj was fine other two less said the better.

the whole issue right now is ranbir winning award. some people and their hypocrisy. keep whining, ranbir will win more. even though i am not a ranbir fan i will support him more now.
