They campaign for it, but just because you campaign doesn't mean you win it. Most time Oscars do get it right, and even movies that don't make much in the box office do win. A movie isnt judged by how much it makes in the box office or who is attending.

The is a French movie called Anatomy of a Fall that is nominated a bunch of Oscars because of the quality not how much it made.

Ranbir and Alia should be embarrassed, most Bollywood stars ignored them and didnt even bother to attend.

Nah. They are too busy basking in all the love that normal cinema going audience is showering on them and will continue to shower on them

So Javed Akhtar, Konkona Sensharma, Kangana Ranaut, Taapsee Pannu, and RJ Balaji all have a stake on the movie when they all critcsed it. Good to know. You dont even make sense, it went from box office, naming 2 celebs because they praised it. You are all over the place. But nothing about the acting.

Industry is not equivalent to audience love

Animal the movie deserves to be dragged.

But Ranbir is still as an actor by neutral audience.

So is Alia. She has always been dragged by haters. But that has never affected her brand value .

They have an amazing line up.

Err hello…hold ur horses there coz they are the ones that are all over the place

First u say Vicky and Vikrant got more mass appreciation and it’s “no big deal” to get mass appreciation …clearly the numbers didn’t support this statement

Then u say mass appreciation shouldn’t be a parameter in gauging performances and impact …

Then another member asks “who is a neutral audience” …so I gave them 2 examples …of a neutral audience …

I never said those ppl you quoted aren’t a neutral audience..I have no problems with ppl dissing animal or not liking it …but if they seem to believe any and every appreciation of animal is “wrong” and they hold the “rightful” opinion…may need a lil eye opener or two abt what several others think of it ..

The world isn’t run by ur esteemed opinions ..there are a lot of ppl out there who think differently
And yes I only gave 2 examples ..there are several others ..look it up on YouTube

They went to an awards show for the industry and no one showed up, it is embarrassing. Not one of the actors that were nominated showed up in their categories.

The industry go to awards shows to celebrate the industry and they fellow actors gave them the middle finger by ignoring them.

Lineups doesnt mean it will be hits, Ranveer once had a lineup with SLB, Karan Johar, Kabir Khan, Rohit Shetty etc.

Now he is in his lowest phases after some flopped, some movies didn't go through and did average.

Alia gets dragged because the audience don't respect her and was handed a career.

So let me get this those two people you posted are neutrals and the likes of Javed isnt? You looking for validation from actors, as in look, look this one liked it but me posting others that said look, look they didnt like it.

Again you bring up the box office when the box office should have nothing to do with actors getting awards. That is why no one cares about FilmFare awards including the actors since 80% those nominated ignored them.

No. It's not embarrassing at all. The last proper star-studded Filmfare happened in 2019.

See, you can convince yourself that everyone from Industry people to the audience hates Ranbir-Alia if it makes you feel better. But that will not make it true.

The audience respect Alia. It's just haters who don't.
