The way I see it -

1. Armaan doesnt give a rat's rotten ass about Ruhi. Had he not been guilt tripped into bringing her home, he wouldn't have even thought about it. So, I am very clear on the fact that he doesn't feel anything for her.

2. Him reprimanding Abhira for eavesdropping - he has been doing this back and forth with Ruhi for a week now. Even he seems pissed off. He just wants to get it done. He doesn't want Abhira to get involved and hence not listen to his convos with Ruhi and secondly, they want to establish some base for Abhira to go back later and think that she had all the clues in front of her eyes of Ar-Ru having an EMA. That scene was more of a base for future MU.

3. His scenes with Ruhi in that house were absolutely nothing. Yes that water scene was kinda disgusting, but if you look at it, Ar looked uncomfortable. All the feelings were from Ruhi's side only. He even brought in Abhira coz subconsciously she is the one who is always in his thoughts. Her talks, her thoughts and her antics make him happy. He is trying to embody her personality. It was a nice way to show that despite him being alone and secluded with his so called soulmate, all he thinks about is Abhira. If they wanted to show Jeth Bhabhi cringe, they would have never brought this Abhira topic.

4. He didn't call out Ruhi for her delusions and didn't take Abhira's name, coz he knows if he does that Ruhi will again run away and he will have to repeat everything again. It's not like he has a choice of telling everyone in the family ki bhaad mein jao tum log, I don't wanna get Ruhi back. He just wants to get done with this nonsense himself.

5. He did get emotional while reminiscing their past but nowhere did he think about Chuhaan old moments. Never once did their love scenes crossed his mind. Only one person came to his mind - Abhira.

6. Hug will be nothing. He will push her back and reprimand her and suddenly will get a call from hospital regarding Rohit.

This is all spot on. My only worry is abhira-armaan scenes felt so forced and have zero feel in them. If audience still feels the same way in next couple of weeks the pair is doomed

Btw, why was the whole family so worked up regarding Arman’s whereabouts in precap? Did that man spend the night wandering around with Ruhi?

What happened to the old 'Ye Rishta'? I've never witnessed such cringe in previous generations. The ML-FL storyline and their relationship were always the show's unique selling points. I haven't seen a proper love line for MaaHira yet. Armaan seems promising one moment but falls flat the next. In previous generations, the male leads loved the female leads unconditionally, even if the relationship dynamics were toxic. I don't sense any sparks between MaaHira now, and their cute moments seem nonsensical. In the past, there were parallel leads, but none as confusing as Ruhi Birla. It's challenging to make sense of her actions, whether due to the actor's emoting or the writing. Ruhi's stubbornness doesn't seem justified, marrying Armaan's brother for her own motives and then now making him promise to support even when wrong. It's highly likely tbat the next time she will ask him to spend the nights with her and Armaan might happily do it.. i dont understand where the story is leading too..

Bold - exactly.. that's what I am hating about armaan. That the guy will do anything to fulfill her demands and we are expected to sympathise with him because he is the victim here because of his family's past? I am not at all able to connect with Armaan after today's episode.

Plus, the weird reaction he gave when she hugged him- was uncomfortable for me. It didn't look like a disapproval. He is letting her do anything with him and he is happily allowing her - i can't even defend him saying that he is doing this out of care. Doesn't matter - in the end - she is his brother's wife and after that promise thing which she asked plus when she blamed Abhira for stealing armaan from her- Armaan should have understood some of her intentions - he didn't even question her why she said those words to Abhira or asked her does she have feelings for him yet? You can't even take Abhira's name in front of her - you feed her the cake instead of saying no to the promise. I mean, you are gonna do everything which she asks from you. Chalo Abhira is not your wife, what if kal ko Rohit comes back, you get married to someone else - and still roohi asks you do continue relationship with her - you will do that too to fulfill your promise ? Because roohi clearly said - she should be at top be ot right or wrong. So basically they may go ethically wrong in future and it would be justified in the name of promise..

I can't believe the AD was calling this super episode and promoting it .. i dont think trp Audience will like such cringe either.. trp aur girni chahiye so that they decide what exactly they want to show? Audience tuned in for Abhira's journey but instead they are served with EMA and lusty bhabhi.. i feel ghum1 was much better than this now..
