I had heard this song years ago on my dad's mix tape and then watched the movie. The movie was average- entertaining but to me, the songs always stood out. This one is generally overlooked among the other famous ones- Kaun aaya, Humse aaya na gaya and Meri Veena tum bin, but I love this one, It was later that I realized it's based on Raag Tilang, that I also love.
