Yeah, I was irritated at that corrupt pandit scene. Usually nobody is this corrupt. Certainly not pandits. Everybody looks to earn an income, but aren’t dishonest like this. But I think this was CVs’ way of showing that Virat and Amruta are meant to be.. they keep showing them tripping, falling and now this kundali match. They aren’t ever interested in matching other characters.
Yeah, again sending a servant to match kundalis is only in shows. Not real world. Hadd hain in Babita’s laziness, inefficiency.
We can’t expect any serious tracks, all are just for drama. Bhavani will change and become independent in an instant if the CVs don’t see any possibility to insert drama there. Don’t expect anything great wrt the character’s positive growth. That’s what is disappointing in any Hindi serial. I think Harsh was acting in front of Aaji and by force of habit congratulated his father. We can give him a pass for this. If they did have some emergency like Bhavani’s illness, maybe they did keep some ornaments on loan.
Writers won’t wake up, that’s for sure.

Bhavani's transformation - its going the way i thought it would but was too quick. I like it but wasn't expecting this overnight one. Even in the car while Ammu and Virat were having a staring contest, she was shown kind of too simple (perhaps even dumb). From that to this... I appreciate the change but could've taken at least a week if not more. She seemed kind of scared to talk and often talked with some hesitation... now its almost like a frank opinion. Shayad Aaji ne special gutti pila di. Wont claim to have a good experience of watching itv shows but havent seen an overnight transformation like this one before.

I dont know if characters are changing. Seems like main characters too. Is Amruta no longer going to be as fierce as shown before? will be bad. Some positive changes in Virat though, and that is appreciable. Babita has gone too far down. Bhavani changes too.

Nimrit - thats a complaint she had since the first function at home. Babita in a way has this habit of underwhelming anything about her and putting something about Virat above her. Not surprising she is upset - but she doesn't realise her world is not as she imagines it to be too. Any case, Tara baby to come soon to poke a hole in her world.

btw figured out the answer to the promo question "Babita ne kiya Amruta ka apmaan, lekin kyun hai woh khamosh?" ... well ... Amruta ko pata hai Babita kam akal hai. Kuch bhi bolne se kuch fayda nahi.

They should start Amruta-Virat wedding track soon so TRP can go to 1.5

That may be wrong perception. I have made a detailed post earlier here on this subject. Z hasn't benefitted with any wedding tracks from most of its serials in recent 1 year or so, (say RM, SS, Rabb, KKB, Kundali got average to below average attention)

be it in gaining new viewership, media buzz, social media hype or even BARC Trp's, channel was not successful as expected.

Hell no! It's too soon, but yahin hone wala hai Sanju Gautam and all it's only leading to that. Lakin TRP ke liye bilkul nahin, it can even drop with what they are showing with Amu silent and typical FL mode

Hopefully festival episodes will start!!

Noticed Zee's thumbnail for the episodes released in YT have ep no written as 'Ep 00XX'. Seems like long haul is already in the plans.

I have seen Sriti’s past work.. plus a few other serials as well, mainly mythological, and historical. At least from the last 5 years, the negative characters and tracks would be glorified to no extent, and the positive characters’ growth would be rushed and made redundant. It’s why I have almost stopped watching Hindi tv shows. Don’t know if this is the same in other languages too.
Don’t particularly care about this show in general. Have long lost my attachment to shows. Have learnt to not get too attached, it’s better. Plus Arjit also helps to a certain extent My advice to all who have the patience to read this post. Don’t get too attached to the characters especially Amruta and Virat. The makers don’t care about your emotions, sentiments, and will show whatever they feel will increase the duration of the show, so why should you care about their show.

Earlier before the marriage, Nimrit’s insecurity and possessiveness about her parents’ attention was passable, even mildly tolerable. Not now. Yes, Babita always puts Virat above Nimrit, but she has to rise above this. It’s no use all the time expecting attention to be on you, when you have other siblings of marriageable age.

Z channel released Aaji entry with Lohri promo around new year date saying 'iss January dekhiye Lohri par'.. now we reached R-day already in real calendar.. 25 days over for that promo..

BB at same 10pm slot on colors is ending this weekend, so may be Z & ph want to wait to capitalize this? to gain new family viewers from next week to KMTMG.. could be another reason why Lohri is being dragged??

anyhow this week mostly we saw lamely edited, loosely written filler episodes with many no sense no continuity scenes, Aaji entry gave some hope as well as hype, to make this show give more relatable content with natural progression of some characters, which team couldn't utilize well..

They should be very careful while handling Amruta Babita scenes as audience love strong Amruta who stands for the truth they cannot ruin her character for the sake of drama. As weak FL is there in every show this show getting good response because of contrast FL and that should be maintained. Virat Amruta wedding that will happen soon as hint was given about it in first week itself.
