This is what I said in the forum few days back.

I haven’t watched Rishta previous seasons, but what I gather from the discussion or the ones who have seen it is Rishta always have had a certain level.

But what they are showing now, it doesn’t seem to be in sync with that.

I was actually thinking to skip the episodes till that promo wala episode but then out of habit I ended up watching.

Why they want to end - TRPs are coming right? And the way they casted all big names from the industry especially for older generation - they wanted it to work.

I really don't think Shahi has anything against Rishta - probably even if he doesn't want Rishta to compete with Anupama but Ghum se toh compete karna hoga. Who would not want their shows to be at top 2? BKAS - another Shahi show is doing bad - Shahi only has two safe slots on Sitara - he would never mess it up - because Sitara pe shows milna isn't easy for any production. There is a reason why Gul is still sticking to Imlie at 8:30 and bringing generation changes.

Last, I think because the TRPs see stable so they are mostly experimenting in my opinion with filler episodes. I don't think they dislike their own show and there is any issue going behind
