Kareena's was the best female perfromance last year

....for JaaneJaan.

She was absolutely marvellous in it.

I know it's an OTT release, but she deserves some award, at least.

Also, JA for playing the psycho tyeacher SO WELL.

These 2 deserve all awards whether OTT or otherwise

Jaideep stole the show for me in that movie. He reminded me of manoj bajpayee with his acting.

I didn’t see it. It’s great she’s getting the love. Let’s hope her next cinema movie is gold also

Filmfare OTT I don’t know. They had some event before 2023 ended and they were awarding films from 2022 ( more Alia nonsense)

Oh please. Have Indian standards fallen so low? It was such a ‘look I am acting’ performance. No internalization, or even subtlety. Kareena can be decent at that, like say a Kurbaan but this was not it.

I believe Alia did win for OTT award

Yeah, but it's not really about Kareena's performance, but more about how the other performances this year were kinda meh. The scenes where she's arguing with her husband and the scene where she goes to meet the teacher at the jail were top-notch, but if Sujoy had stuck to the book's ending, it could have been her career best. The emotional punch from the book didn't quite translate to the movie, especially since the book doesn't have a happy ending.
