Sadly, it still exists. I've been some close friends' wedding days & their mothers weren't present at their wedding days.

I've heard some myths that say that mother's presence is supposedly bringing some omen because she loves her son too much (which is really bad & shameful thought, but it still exists even today).

I wonder whether Prachi will be able to pull off powerful scenes during and after Sita haran.she speaks very soft. Her voice doesn't have that command i feel

They could have trained her atleast. She is beautiful though.
