I am thankful to Swastik Production that they did not accept the undue demand of Channel of showing Bigamy.Dev and Tara"s relationship is unique.and no Thirdwheel is required here .Its better to put the show off air rather than stretching it like a gum and spoil the essence.Inclusion of Deva"s fake family already did the deed..

Here are some points I want to raise which could have brought better future for Chand Jalne Laga.

1. Swastik, instead of launching the show to prime channels could have done it in Sony or Dangal or Sab Tv...These channels does not

create pressure for trp, engage youth more than aunties and allow the makers to frame the story as per as their will while Color being a trp hungry channel always push the makers to

2. They should have shown Deva"s past vividly in the initial episodes. This was one of the core elements of the plot which the makers executed very weakly..They could have shown how Deva struggle for food and get abused...such would have broughtI

Inclusions of Arjun without a proper back story was an another shortfall in the parts of makers, If they would have mentioned that Arjun and Tara is going to be married but Tara still pines for Deva it wouldn't have Arjun"s entry sudden and trp wouldn't have dropped so that the channels had to push it to a dead slot

Revealing Mallik as Deva, before Marriage was another wrong stroke by the makers. They could have shown forced revenge marriage without uncovering

Swastik should have understood that their treatment to non mythology should be different. And colors,I have no words. They are the most pathetic. No strategy works for this Money maniac channel...I wish We get Vishal back.soon and Kanika as well because both are most deserving actors who didn't get the due. And we fans we are the payers but sadly not the choosers.

Elimination of Gautam Hedge from the writing panel was also a very bad decision. The story was on track till he was writing. The day he put his hands down The show lost its integrity.

Titli you know first time when I found something is missing it was the temple scene where Jyothi and Deva met. I told you then Vishal wala performance nahi tha... from that track story same nahi rahi.

Makers are confused totally kya dikhna hai ? Kounsa track work karega?

They haven't used Raunak Farwary well. There were so many loopholes after ever tracks.

Totally agree with your points Titli.

They should not reveal the truth Deva's identity before marriage. Tara would have hate him for marrying her forcefully but the moment Tara came to know about Deva she forgot everything even herself.

Now this unwanted family tracks.... Deva Preeti marriage karna aur suicide karna same hoga I tell you. Even if Tara ki jaan khatre mein ho Deva has to marry against his will. It won't work. I have quitted watching CJL. To be honest I'm done with the show. I don't think I'll take anymore negativity. I have quitted watching ITV shows because of negativity only.

But I had great hopes from CJL I thought we'll get another immoral couple like Arshi but I was soooo wrong that I'm hurting .

It's better makers end this show on a happy note and let Devra fans to cherish devra moments. Don't ruin it with this forceful marriage tracks.

Agree with each and every point...I am so frustrated..each good show I watch ends on bad note..I am so frustrated with this channel.. and makers..they just rushed through good stuff.. revealed Deva being mr Malik too soon...there was no need for fast reveal...making Ananya delulu...getting Arjun..and even this mang bharo of preeti..they didn't have core story..just patchy tracks...bad luck we had...at least OTT platform pe le jate...I don't know when they will stop getting random third angles...it had such potential all wasted..I feel bad for Vishal Kanika..they deserved better..trash keeps running for years and good shows don't run...sad it is

For me it was the fact that they never had a good baseline to begin with. Hear me out. The entire show was promoted as this epic love story between childhood friends who became enemies due to something that happened in their past. Beginning of the show was excellent. The chemistry between the main leads, storyline and acting was on point. I guess the first downfall was the fact that the makers never thought about what they wanted Deva’s revenge to be exactly. Him buying the haveli from the Sehgals made sense to torture Tara. Then he made Tara his employee and kept torturing her with tasks or work. But we never got to know the point. Did he just want to torture her? Did he want her to realise her mistake and apologise? Did he want her to go to jail and suffer for something she didn’t do? It was never clear what his exact goal was. Now if you don’t have a basic storyline to start off with, you are going to run out of ideas very soon. Which is exactly why they rushed Deva’s love realisation and introduced Arjun’s entry. At this point the show had only completed about 30-40 episodes yet. And Deva already sort of realised he loved Tara, the reason why Deva went to jail was revealed as well.. + add a love triangle with all that = people losing interest in the show. After Arjun, everything went further downhill. They rushed Deva’s identity reveal. His entire revenge plan turned into a marriage. The makers basically didn’t even try to make an entire episode about Tara finding out about Deva’s struggles and what he went through because of her. After marriage, makers turned the show into a typical saas bahu drama with Deva being a najayaz aulaad in the hope to make the TRPs go up, which didn’t happen because of at this point everyone lost interest in the show. If you reveal everything in under 50 episodes, the audience will not connect with the love story and lose interest period.

Totally agree with you...they didn't have basic plot from the beginning itself. Just Deva coming back after years to take revenge is not something you can run for months. They shouldn't revealed Deva's identity before marriage. They could have shown Deva married her forcefully keeping Raunak in hostage. Tara would have hated Deva then with time she could have found similarities between Deva and Mr. Mallik then Deva revealing his identity.

Deva taking revenge by leaving her after she falls for him would have been a great twist. In Madhubala just like madhu even viewers were convinced RK has changed but then the shocking twist came when RK left madhu.

Makers had Vishal and Kanika as leads but they couldn't use them properly to deliver a memorable love story like Arshi, Rishbala or maaneet.

I agree ..Devas badla became a joke...it is important to have good story to last you at least 50-60 episodes..once your original story runs out then random twists start...makers seemed confused and did random experiments as well...I felt a disconnect very often..I feel a track needs to grow ..it needs that space..rushing good stuff doesn't help..just getting a new character every other day doesn't help..

I agree after the first 40 episodes, the story just went down hill. In one episode where Tara and Deva are stuck in a freezer, he clearly tells her that he lives for her. He even confesses his love for her to Mahadev while praying for her recovery.

Now cut to the marriage part. On the wedding day he tells her that he will never accept her as his wife, but beats up some guy for her and then tells him to keep his hands off his wife Tara. I thought there was progression here but no.

Now to the track that we are seeing. Deva seems not too worried that his wife left him. He hardly misses her.The family has forgotten that his wife left him. No reaction at all. Happily viling time uselessly playing games.

To put icing on the cake we get a promo where he does what he does. He is shown unhappy. This is not even relatable. The girl who used to be abused is now freely roaming around the lead actor. Seriously.

Where is the progression of the story. Everything is just a mess. No connectivity.

The most passionate love story CVS Really.

Passion -Missing

Love - Hidden not explored

Story-

All over the place. Too many filler episodes. No substance.

Tracks ki baat Naa kare to hi accha hai .. vanraaj, Amrit , Arjun, sartaaz, Soni , Ananya, Raunak, Farwary, vasant kaka. They didn't give any of them proper scene or closure. Vanraaj is in hospital, Amrit has gone to rest on Devra's marriage day, Raunak Farwary are invisible most of the time. Soni and Ananya are forgotten totally just came one day to create misunderstanding in Deva's mind

Aab aaise mein show kaise chalega bolo?

New characters too don't have anything to do. Nanaji is also forgotten. Only Nani is doing karnaama.

They have ruined Deva's character totally. He is not missing his wife and happily enjoying family time with them. They didn't even shown his emotional breakdown before Badshah. Nani is right Deva will prove blood is thicker than water. They can easily justify Deva marrying Preeti now.smiley35
