Should Aishwarya Rai have won the Filmfare Award for Guzaarish?

Guzaarish was a flop, but Aishwarya did a decent job in the movie.

But it was forgotten. Did Kajol really deserve the award that year?
Should Aishwarya have won the Filmfare award instead?

Aish wouldn't have bagged the win if My Name is Khan didn't release that year. I mean, it's not even in the top 3 performances of the year, lol. And let's not forget how much of a dud Guzaarish was – It is rare for flops to score best actor awards. I'm surprised she got a nomination.

Vidya should’ve won for Ishaqiya. Kajol was fine in MNIK but not enough to win this award.

Ash was pretty good in Guzaarish but not enough to win this award. Kajol was better than Ash.


K3 being nominated for GOLMAAL3 is weird b/c she wasn’t good. Anushka was even worse. Filmfare is whaaaack.

Only Vidya deserved to.win FF over Kajol that year for Ishqiya. Kajol's performance in MNIK was actually very good. That one scene in hospital after her son's death alone makes her more worthy than Ash.

But Vidya's overall role and performance was amazing. She was the only one that should have won.

I rooted for Kajol but Aish or Anushka would have been my second choice. Never seen Ishqiya but considering how many Filmfares Vidya won after this, there was no need for her to win this one too.

Anushka won IIFA btw. So probably she would have won if Kajol didn't.
