This acting would be considered quite dated now but Madhuri is a fantastic actress! I don't understand why she doesn't get her due. Compared to the likes of Aamir and SRK, she matches their acting level/and stagnation well but for some reason is only known for her dance.
I thought she was superb in this movie as well. Anil Kapoor's character was such a loser and so foolish. Madhuri ruled Beta.
