Or for once let the makers show that Imlie has run with Meera after fighting off the stalker. I don't think Vishwa was even aware of the drama. When Meera was thrown out of the house, I was lowkey expecting to see Vishwa standing there gloating at Imlie saying - I told you so. Thank god we did not have to see Vishwa there.

Looking at the precap, things are fine between Agastya and Imlie and they did a skit for some function. So maybe Agastya will rescue them or Kakimaa will go underground for some time to keep her kids safe.

I love how the past two leads of Imlie have been Bengali. Megha’s Imlie was poorly written unfortunately in comparison to her previous shows. Her Imlie was living in the shadow of the previous one with cringe dialogues like “Hum Imlie ki beti Imlie hai”. Both of the first Imlie had traits of becharis mixed with superheroes. Mistreated by their family in one scene and they beat up 14 goons in the other. Their sisters were their biggest enemies and all that for a boy…

Adrija’s Imlie is my favourite and I think the best Imlie so far. Her equation with Sai’s Agastya is so perfect. Visually, they’re a stunning couple and acting wise they match up with each other so nicely. Whether it be in romance, comedy or drama, it flows naturally. I think we all love the retro vibes with the music and the soft warm colour grading. Everything is shot so beautifully à la Gul Khan. The village gives a cozy vibe and the sets are aesthetically so pleasing.

Agastya and Imlie are morally aligned with eachother as well. Even when there’s personal misunderstandings between them, they still support each other in front of the family. August Babu’s prejudice stemmed from trauma and not a superiority complex unlike a lot of other ITV males. Imlie was given time to understand him without excusing his bad behaviour. She always held him accountable and he was always quick to apologize or acknowledge his mistakes. I always hated shows in which it took a whole family and 10 episodes to teach their grown male lead to say sorry.

She also doesn’t shy away from speaking in front of elders and standing up for what’s right. She’s bold but coy and we’ve enjoyed many scenes where she’s able to openly flirt with her Babu. Agastya is confident and assertive but he’s able to feel shy and stutter in certain moments because of Imlie.

They both know how to cook and are street smart enough to build the jhopdi back together. There’s such a balance and it’s an equal partnership.

Adrija and Sai also deliver these really intense lines with such an amazing modulation. They work hard to get better and they takes notes from their directors seriously. We got ourselves some beautiful talented leads this season.

My proud Bengali heart got carried away and I ended rambling about the things I love in this show a bit too much ooops 😂

There’s an upcoming Vishwa and Imlie interraction for sure. Abishek (Vishwa’s actor) posted a BTS on his story with Adrija. She’s wearing a pink sharee so it’s a different day.

I’d rather Imlie and Meera save themselves by running away from the masked killer. Maybe Imlie will try and call Agastya as they’re hiding.

Even if he’s feeling conflicted from the Meera reveal, he might notice that Imlie isn’t home and try to look for her. No matter who saves her or if she saves herself, August Babu will be extra protective of her after the attack.

Okay, I like the show but there have been so many plots, that its been difficult to keep interest.

I feel you have to pay a lot of attention to the various stories, which causes a disconnect.

I missed a few days and now completely lost. Do others feel the same?

I agree. The writing has been all over the place. There are too many open and interwined plots. It can get confusing at times.

The actors, director and DOP save the day. Most of us here are regular viewers. We do catch up with the updates and backlog of episodes whenever we get time.

Even if Vishwa saves them this time, I don't think it will change Agastya imlie equation. The precap has somewhat established that Agastya imlie are the soul mates whom Even death can't separate (I mean the Satyavan Savitri symbolism they have used to depict this thought)

This vishwa will turn full blown villain someday or other as his pathetic revenge story didn't strike chord with viewers in previous track

Naaaah.. I feel entertained..

But yeah if someone watches such serials, running in the background and doing some work then yes, a bit of attention is required...

Sometimes the story runs so fast. I was thinking that some huge drama will happen in the episode. But not much of sort. Only Alka yelled at Imlie lol. Everyone else understood her. But haan Meera's revelation was at climax. The promo had more drama than the episode. Atleast the promo had some fight between Meera and Daadi which was completely missing in the episode. Episode was much mellowed down version. On the other part of the episode some random new entry happened who is going to attack attack the chaudhurys. Will they reveal the masked man now? Otherwise what is the point of Meera and Imlie conversation?

Also looks like there won't be much difference between Agastya and Imlie as of now. They will be on good terms.

Half proposal happened. I didn't expect that.

Maybe the attack of the masked man will lead to Meera being back to the Chaudhury house. I don't think there is any drama possible if Meera is not there in Chaudhury house. She needs to be there.

BTW precap is another upcoming madness lol.
