People are doing and saying anything in the name of religion. They are nothing but attention seekers. Nayanthara only acted in a movie. A woman's dignity should be protected at any cost.

Didn't the Animal lovers say movies don't influence society or people choose for themselves after watching a movie?well what happened now?they enjoyed those sex scenes, nudity and now getting offended?

After watching a movie people will convert their religion?

At least stick to one narrative. Either movies influence society or don't influence society

People convert their religion all the time. Been going on since ages. Everyone is free to do that(unless the country has strict extremist rules).

I'm not 'propagating' conversion. Would I convert to another religion? Nah. I pretty much see them all as more or less alike. But why should someone else deciding to convert bother me? Best case or worst case, I might think it's a bit silly – like willingly moving from one prison to another. But if it works for them, what's the harm? If you're getting worked up over a movie portraying a woman choosing to 'convert,' you're not really any different from those hardcore Islamists, are you?

@bold - I swear I didn’t want to respond. But this is far fetched. And personal attack. Pot calling cattle black situation.

I don’t propose blank tent for women as an outfit.
I don’t oppose women’s education

I don’t support women being sex slaves and war slaves.
I believe in freedom of women. I am complete opposite of an Islamist.


Of course A woman can convert by her own will but not by deceit. Educate yourself. Don’t give up your freedom for some contrived version of love propagated by movies. I stand by that.

Expansionists religions should really be ashamed of propagating coerced conversions.

The movie didn't depict any of the stuff you're mentioning here. Maybe you saw a different film or didn't watch anything at all. You're assuming things just like any extremist would and getting worked up over things that only exist in the imagination of extremists.
