I watched the episode specifically to understand the placing of Ishaans hand on Savis head.....this is my 2 cents.l

Ishaan Baba hadn't explicitly given word or agreed to Harinis request. His silence had been concluded as his acceptance.

Seeing Savis plight and hearing the doctor say it was her final stage he placed his hand on Savis head as an affirmation to himself what he would be henceforth. He had resolved to become that person who will stand by Savi. To do that he had to let go of the ties that were binding him to Reeva.

As he takes the pheras he was recalling what promises /hopes had been kindled in Reeva.

Symbolically the mangalsutra that was intended to bind him and Reeva snaps as he picks up the one to place around Savis neck.

Though episodes seem to drag as we are impatient to know what next, the makers seem to have an intent.

The hospital breakdown in Ramtek, the funeral, the almost drowning, the CPR , the attempted unburdening of guilt,bathe ambulance, Harinis coma, awakening all seem to be the judge factors to take responsibility of Savi and let go of Reeva.

He holds Savis hand so firmly she is unable to get away. He only let's go of it to pick the Sindoor

After multiple viewings I loved the episode for the nuanced symbolism.

Meanwhile I am wondering ki next day Shadi hai toh why is everyone wearing black?

The signify the manhoosiyat that Horini has caused..
