What's the status of Anuj in other languages ?

So far I understand that this show, on the same theme, has been made in three more languages apart from Hindi - Bengali, Marathi and Tamil. So members who know these languages and have seen these shows, can you please tell what is the status of Anuj's character in them .. Did there also he saw the FL in college, fell in love at first sight without any interaction and then waited for 26 years ... I am just curious to know ki kitne aise ghoom rahe hain poore desh mein ??

I haven’t watched any other versions of this show but reading on this forum came to know he leaves for good, to heaven, in the original version I guess Bengali.

Rohit(Bengali)- Met her in college. They had a few interactions. He proposed her, but she refused due to the fear of her family. He had immense respect for his business. He did not hand over his business to random people. He taught her business from scratch. He admonished her many times when she used to neglect official duties because of her dysfunctional family. At the end, he Met a dignified death. It's a shame that character of the puppy is based on him.

The original Bengali show (Sreemoyee) has been re-made in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia also apart from what you listed.

However the Hindi version deviated from the plot of Sreemoyee long ago and is based on the creative inputs of Thoo thoo Shahi producers (being depicted in the lead roles of Vanrajan and Mawaali Jhuli). They probably take cues from the experiences with their own unpaid maid

In the Marathi version, a third person is trying to come between Arundathi(Anupama) and Ashutosh(Anuj). Is she their daughter's biological mother like Maya or the daughter's teacher, I don't know. I don't meticulously follow that version too. It is also produced by Rajan Shahi only.

I don't have much of an idea but from whatever I have read, Arundhati took more of a stand for herself than Anupamaa ever could and gave it back to her ex husband. Maybe it hasn't deviated completely like the Hindi version and they are not doling out lollipops to fool people in the name of the protagonist's "journey"

Then again, after seeing what they have done in Anupamaa, I never want to watch a DKP show again. They start off with the mask of reliability and sensible storylines and take everyone for a ride eventually by turning into the same old third angle, provoke fan wars etc

If that version which I believe is a better and sensible version of the show is also produced by Rajan Shahi, then I think the Channel SP and the actors have a huge role to play in the story going the way it is, ofcourse main culprit being Shahi himself but Star has a habit of ruining its own shows to the extent they become irreparable.

Actors take the popularity to their head and start behaving like writers directors of the show making changes in the script as claimed by SP (Vanraj Shah) himself.

Rest there’s a lot of behind the scene drama of this show which also affects the story and performance and delusion has no cure, if someone thinks their clownish acting is being applauded they will never improve that.

All leading to the downfall of the show.
