I think it needs follow up. You’re clever and analytical and even caught that he liked her in the past. I think us discussing the show has helped me understand it better. Most average, casual watchers are still confused. If you read the comments under clips of the scene on YouTube, TikTok whatever, people are confused. They’re asking what did he say? What does he mean? They moved on from the scene very quickly so I definitely feel they need to revisit it and both of them need to discuss it a bit. Conversations, monologue, any type of dialogue adds so much to a scene and a character. It’s why I prefer books, they are so descriptive and really get into describing a person’s point of view. Shows, movies don’t this as much but Zaid has really been skipped over in terms of dialogue. I didn’t mind up until a certain point, I actually preferred it, but I feel we need it now.
