Maybe the writer will do the backstory /his perspective justice but at this point I don’t have a lot of faith in Badar. Because I don’t get the delay in revealing this. It’s doing the story and the characters a lot of disservice. Then also mentioning it and not coming back to it in the very next episode ? Wow. If we weren’t at 2 episodes/week right now, people would have forgotten Zaid had even said anything in 2 weeks time!

At this rate maybe we will get one scene to explain the backstory and that’s it. Wrap up 🤦🏻‍♀️

Zaid HAS to shine and get his moment. He has to be the one to bring Asif down.

Almost everyone will agree Ayra should not have joined Fakar against Zaid's interests- if she's a career woman, that's ok. But point is, that's not what Zaid wanted...he wanted her near him...

There she has kept her interests above his and even Asif mocks Zaid.

There are many characters here and you can see their interaction with everyone. The drama isn't focused on Zaid and MJ, in fact their love story is not even 10% of this drama so "Oh Zaid or MJ is behaving like this because he or she is in love" doesn't make any sense to me. Characters are extremely practical about "love" here. It is not Tere Bin wala "Qayamat Tak Wala Love" of Murtasim, Tere Bin was a love story focused on Meerab and Murtasim, which is not the case with Zaid, MJ or Ayra

MJ's reason to be with Zaid were given to me by the writer, why would I write my own story about their love? I am waiting for the writer to give me more, I am not gonna start writing scenes or narrative

You can totally expect them not to give us any backstory regarding Zaid's thing for Mub. I can totally expect them to just wrap this in last two mins of the last episode with 2-4 toota phoota dialogues.

MJ is not real, she can't see anything like us. it is a character written by a writer and directed by a director, you get MJ through scenes in the episode. You are imposing your dislike of Ayra on this character's characteristics and presenting it as her thought process.

I started watching this drama because of Wahaj and for me he peaked in those episodes before the second marriage. Zaid vs Asif should be on the cards again ! It’s so so fun to see !
I need Asif to quickly finish his dirty work so Zaid can finally see it and wake up lol

What's there to explain in the backstory? Isn't it evident MJ had even probably forgotten about it- not even once she reminded him he had proposed to her once, all she said was they were good friends. So it was done at a very vague level- MJ nipped it in the bud and forgot about it most likely because she never subscribed to love and Zaid struggled with getting over it... obviously he's not even willing to give a glimpse of that painful chapter. Though I hope MJ gets a FB of it...that'd be nice...

They did Wahaj dirty by taking away that contract winning moment from him, that scene was given to Ayra. It should have gone to Zaid to prove that he is something without his father's name in fact his father's company is nothing without him

Did anyone notice in that deal scene as Zaid was opening the door to the conference room, MJ confidently overtook him and went in and he was shocked for a split second...that was not a slip up from MJ. He should have opened the door for her- so whether it occured to him or not, she directed that part of it. 🤭

Zaid was just so shocked to see her confidence and he quickly hid it by smiling at someone in the room....at first I thought he smiled at her, but no. She strode in and he was smiling at someone else in a different direction. Did anyone else notice this?

These moments are there to tell the audience she's not hiding her real self from him and if he accepts her, it will be with many of those characteristics we think she needs to change. Zaid has to decide how much he can take and how much change he will demand.

Again, scenes like this tell you she's not sacrificing all her mein for him...just what she chooses to, for him... anything for him...❤️😉

I noticed that she herself opened the door of conference room but I don't know about Zaid's reaction.

But what you say about MJ not hiding her true self from Zaid is correct. Yes, she behaves appropriately with him bcz she has to. But she doesn't do that with others Infront of him as well. That police scene where the police stops them. The way she says 'Ab inko kya chahie' it was her original rude tone🤷 Zaid knows that she just behaves herself for HIM & he is okay with it. So like you said, it's up to Zaid to decide what he can take & what he can't. Fair enough. Just that if they fall in love with eachother & decide to be together, Zaid should just stop with ordering her around...
