I reckon that's the essence of effective propaganda. Top Gun does include military propaganda, but it also takes its cinematic craft seriously. There's a ton of effort put into characters, dialogues, and the overall story. Fighter may have nailed the planes/action and military outfits (We will see that), but the dialogues in the trailer sound like they were written by the same factory who writes WhatsApp forwards.

He is working in a film that promotes jingoism

Ranbir and Shahid are not promoting toxic masculinity

They are working in fims which promote toxic masculinity

The distinction between an actor's personal beliefs and the roles they portray on screen is crucial in discussions about the impact of cinema on societal values, I get it

Actors take on roles for various reasons, such as artistic challenges or professional growth. I thik we need to criticize the directors more.
