Other shows also show fl abuse. However the difference I noticed between tmd and other shows is that they have redemption tracks which are missing in tmd. Even when vanraj was highly toxic, they showed him apologizing to anupama and wanting her back. And Fl decided to reject him.
But tmd is constantly showing Evil winning over good again and again. even if somebody realise their mistake they just apologize and female lead forgives them in a moment. there are no redemption tracks or getting back their Karma. that's why tmd is more negative than other shows
Worst part is all this abuse and Domestic violence has been normalized, even in some instances romanticized, because supposedly the person perpetrated these is hurt and he loves her so much but is angry

at least today he was not barking . Even when he is not barking showing hate that also seems ok bcoz itna bhaunk chuka hai ki lagta hai jab bhi mujhe kholega bhaunkega, which seems to be a normal behaviour of him nowdays. I also watched that clip when people said he was feeling regret. I donât see any emotions on his face. VJ is good at angry scenes but that does not mean that every time you make him to shout. Even then audience want sahan centric track and logical not like this by hook or crook you are showing separation.
