I agree. The truth is the trump card and it will be stretched as much as possible. I was an avid follower of Imlie season 1 and I know how the truth reveal was delayed as much as possible. The same writer of Imlie is writing this story too.

Seriously the same writer? I hope Arshi and Ani do not get married, the truth should come out before their marriage and their marriage should stop.

I couldn’t watch that hero in Imli playing both sisters, it was pathetic

Me too….loved today episode and the high voltage drama and arguments between Ani and Jhanak with Chottqn in between.

That Tejas guy has a strong screen presence 😂

I think she puts it under her hair, it’s hiding because she does side parting of hair 😁

Though i like the leads chemistry, i find the male actor acting more good than the female actor. The female actor seems to be giving the same expressions all the time. Though the story is very similar to Imlie, it is lacking the solid conflict Imlie had. In case of Imlie, she accepted the forced marraige and she considered him as husband. In Janak’s case both of them have not take the marraige seriously and not accepting it. Not sure from where the conflict is going to come. But the story is going interesting as of now. Looking forward to see how they are going to take the story forward.

I like the fact that both have not taken the marriage seriously or else the girl thinking it’s real while the boy is getting married to another girl is torture

Leena Gangopadhyay who conceptualised the Bengali versions of jhanak ( Jol Nupur) and imlie 1( ishti kutum) is writing jhanak all by herself, if you see the credits she’s in charge of story, screenplay and dialogues. It’s translated into Hindi by another lady.

imlie1 was only developed by her but had other writers/ dialogue writers too

Jhanak seems like a mish mash of both imlie1 and jol Nupur too to a certain extent.

Yes I agree. I watched Imlie season 1 religiously. I could see lot of similarities between Imlie and Janak especially couple of scenes. In Imlie Adi realized his love for Imlie after he got married with Malini and thereby it became very complicated. Hope here it is different

Are you saying Jhanak is/will be better and I wont regret watching it Nitya?

FYI, Just started yesterday. Couldnt understand why Jhanak was so adamant about going with Tejas. What have I missed?

Tejas has photos of Ani/ jhk mg and was blackmailing to expose them so She wanted to save Anirudh from the wrath of his family and also didn’t want to break up his impending marriage with her cousin.

I just found both Ani and Jhanak over reacted, especially infront of Tejas. I'd give Ani benefit of the doubt, here because he is yet to realise he has feelings for Jhanak. Jhanak on the other hand, to me appeared to have made a rash decision without thinking about the implications. Shouldnt she have discussed it with Ani first. Was she doing it because she wanted(perhaps wished) Ani to treat her more than a maid?. Form her reaction it also looked like she doesnt consider their marriage to be real either.

Again, my view could purely be because I dont know the background.
