sriram was having a great time at the box office with back to back hits badlapur and andhadhun. He made a mistake with this cast and also his next film project a huge mistake of story and cast with his next project. a non actor to be the lead for the project. He should've casted tabu for this movie.

This film will benefit so much from an actress who can act. Katrina's terrible acting when she enters the house to find her husband murdered completely ruins the entire film. The way the standards are so low, her being able to muster 2 expressions in a 2 hour film is considered career best.
The first half is nice, atmospheric. Second half is painfully basic. Why do Bollywood directors spoon feed every little detail. Trust your audience a bit.

For once, I don't see the issue with either of their accents. That's how a lot of people speak Hindi in Bombay. On the other hand, it's hard to believe a woman like Katrina would pick up a guy like the date sleaze and Vijay. It makes sense once you have the reveal, but it does hurt the believability of the first half a bit.

Just because the movie is a disaster at the BO does not mean people are not planning to see it..they are all waiting for it to release on Netflix so lets please not ruin it for them
Finally saw the movie!!
I avoided this thread completely still now because even with no spoiler title people posts bits of the movie which reveals things and in a suspense movie it spoils the watching experience.
Story is good but too slow paced. Really very s l o w. Thrillers cannot be so slow. It needs some pace at least.
Though few areas but it was really good to see old time Bombay.
This movie could have been a hit if pace was a bit fast.
It was a good change from violence and over-the- top dialogues and dancing. There is actual talking in this movie :)
