This is the same article that himesh wrote, it says slb is undecided on what he wants to make, he is exploring different ideas and he has discussed another film with ranveer. Maybe he doesn’t feel that it’s the right time to make Baiju, maybe because ranveer and alia have only recently starred in a film together. So we will just have to wait and see what slb decides on, the article doesn’t say anything concrete about what is going to happen.

and no Baiju is not shelved, slb has never shelved a film he has wanted to make, he came back and made BM and Padmavat, he is still hoping to make inshallah as well, and this article says he still hopes to make Baiju.

And slbs pr articles are always unreliable they say one thing and another thing happens, I’ve learnt to never trust an article about a slb film until the filming actually has started.

It's a fictional character as far as I am aware. The original movie is on YouTube.

He has still promised Aloo four movies, unfortunately! So no good riddance! I was still hoping he would consider someone like Tripti who is even more talented. Also, if given the right makeup, clothes, styling and angles could pass for a SLB heroine. Even though she is no Aish or Deepika either.

Ah, yes! about the singer! I was mistaken...

I want him to make light hearted love story with Ranveer- DP or Ranbir- DP or Srk-DP. No periodic drama, some thing like HDDCS or khamoshi

Unfortunately DP is the only choice i see unless he brings out someone new like Tripti in different Avatar.
