I liked how today Armaan was all for Abhira and their marriage. He was like I don't care if everyone knows you are my wife. And Abhira was opposite.

I think he says this because firstly she doesn’t like his family. Time and again she has mentioned that just because she had to marry him on her mother’s deathbed, she is tolerating them, otherwise they aren’t worth it.

Even today she said so.

Secondly, she has time and again mentioned that the only reason she is with him is because she wants to fulfill her mother’s dream.

If not for that, there is no reason to stay in the marriage.

And today even after Armaan speculating that might be she has some attachment or a sense of authority towards him, she poured cold water on him saying that because of him she couldn’t learn a single word in college.

Armaan thinking she is the perfect life partner but cannot be his are most probably based on the above statements of her.

As a viewer it hurts to see Abhira speak that way but that is her goal and ambition, and she hasn’t developed any feelings for Armaan or his family yet
