For me, Angad's flaws were most revealed during Simran track. When he found out about his mother being behind Simran's kidnapping (after yet again distrusting Sahiba for thinking his mom was behind the fiasco, and telling her to get out), he confronted his mom. But within a min, he was successfully wrapped by his mother in her twisted logic of holding Inder and Sahiba for her actions - if they had not insisted upon Simran staying in BM, she would not have had Simran kidnapped at night by two unknown men and sent off to some far away orphanage.

And Angad's dialogs were "Mein phir dorahe per aa khada hun, pata nahin konsa rasta sahi and konsa rasta galat".

This SHOCKED ME. What Manveer did was PURE EVIL. Manveer, a worldly 60+ yr old woman, sold an 8 year old girl to two men in the dead of night, knowing what happens to young girls under such situations, AND knowing Simran had barely survived the trauma of being sold off earlier.

And Angad in his "dilemma" could not distinguish between what is evil (Selling/kidnapping a young girl) and what are emotional wounds (Manveer's hurt from her husband seeking love elsewhere and a divorce). He put both issues at par.

This showed some wires are seriously wired wrong in his psyche.

Since TMD is not an adult show, makers could not show Simran being raped etc. They instead chose a PG13 route of Simran being poisoned. But reality is that most likely it is fate of girls in Simran's situation.

How could he put simran and Manveer at par? Manveer is a grown a*sed woman, old enough to maturely deal with wounds from a marriage that was a failure from get go.

Ironically, this was the only time post marriage when Sahiba spoke up about injustices to her and how she feels when all sorts of false charges are always leveled against her. But Angad was lost in his "dilemma" and paid her no heed. He did not even pick up the phone when Sahiba tried to call him when Simran woke up and asked for him. It is only when the transplant crisis arose, he started talking with Sahiba properly.

💯 Agree. I mean he was ok to hide things to save manbeer when she did pure evil, he was ok to hide Seerat innumerable kaands but rest all he has genuine problem and he is hurt. Give me a break.

He is ready to forgive and forget evil purpatrated by the people he love but then everything else is problem.

He did not say a word to manbeer for forcing sahiba for divorce but sahiba write S and the world ends. He gave so many chances to seerat without her needing to do anything but Garry atleast did some good which can be seen

Sahiba is dumb to trust Garry hands down but Angad has crossed all limits in hiding shameless stuff by his mother and his first love that he doesn't have any moral right to preach

I think this is the new trend in indian serials within the last few years.. before it was sas vs bahu type serials, their kalesh and all.. nowadays sass are more understanding n Supportive than husbands(exceptions like manbeer). also husbands are more emotionally manipulative n torturing (like Angad, Virat from Ghum 1,imli2.0,...)towards their wives.. and now it is always the husband, wife n wife's sister triangle.. it is becoming very toxic.. almost every show has this kind of themes.

That character truly has 0 moral standing, he even defended Seerat throwing the kids things as saaf niyat. Just trash all around.

Angad lost me during this track. I used to think if I was in Sahiba's shoes, why should I want kids with a man who wants to throw a 8yr old back in the hell she came from. Simran as a traumatized 8 yr old has more maturity in her little finger than all of Angad.

I think everyone treated Angad as boy king as he was most promising of the next gen boys. Hence he did not get grounding to be truly humble and self aware of his faults

He has not introspected or once thought perhaps he erred. Like he kept saying over and over and over that he was right in the matter of Serry wedding and Sahiba would be proven wrong. Yet he is the one who was proven wrong.

Barring the Sahiba rescue from Rumi, Angad has held himself apart from Sahiba, letting her do all the hard work for exposing the wrongs. During the Seerat track, he used to forbid her to go out and do the legwork to proof against Garry. But he was holding her to the 7 day deadline for proving Seerat eloped with Garry. How can she collect proof if she cannot leave the house??

Sahiba needs to get back to the girl she was pre wedding. That woman has disappeared and she needs her fire

I liked that sahiba took stand in the precap that she will not blame an innocent person just to please angad.

Mind it, gary is innocent in video swapping case. Seerat changed it so sahiba is correct

And even if she was wrong, if he doesn't see anything in their relationship beyond her believing Garry changed, then better end it.

Because when Angad believed Garry changed against Sahibas wishes and Garry did nothing to prove it, he was never given any ultimatum even when he had only treated Sahiba harshly till then. Sahiba did so much for him; he nicely used her to get out of jail and save his house, she did put in so much efforts to convince him after he kicked her out of room but now he considers this make or break then so be it.

Love has nothing to do with choices:

1. Angad chose Seerat's man maryada over Sahiba.

2. Angad chose to get Seerat married to Garry despite Sahiba's reluctance.

3. Angad chose his mom over Sahiba even after his mom committed crime

4. Angad chose Sunny soon over Sahiba

Does that mean he does not love her? Loving a person does not make u a yes man or woman. Your brains and your decisions are still yours. And yes this promotes that fact that a woman cannot hink on her own, cannot make mistakes even if she thinks on her own, if she does not agree to everything that her husband does, then she does not love him.

I would love to see Sahiba questioning Angad over Seerat and asking why she is allowed to stay in the house, it's either me or Seerat in the house. And then I want to see how much Angad loves who....his responsibility (which no one gave him....he volunteered...no family asked him....so this is his choice obligation....) or his wife.

I want to get rid of this headache called sahan. Separate hole khud bhi shaant ho aur viewers ko bhi shaanti de.

I'm glad that sahiba is not pleasing angad on his ultimatum, wahan doormat nahi ban rahi. She is still firm on her stand to not blame innocent person to make angad happy

Also, Sahiba has been kicked in the teeth everytime she tries to engage with Angad. Why will her ego not finally raise its' head and allow her self-righteousness speak out?

He himself coined "sacchi sahiba" and knows that is her essence. He pushed her into a corner.
