Vicky's family if was clever shouldn't have even let Vicky's mom to give those interviews. She literally said some really harsh words for Ankita which went against Vicky and aur mazaaak ban gya. I agree with you, it is a marriage of convenience. Vicky pays for Ankita and her mother’s upkeep in Mumbai, Ankita hasn’t worked properly and consistently in years. Not saying she doesn’t have money she does but not enough to afford the flat she lives in Mumbai.

Her mom is desperate to ensure this union works while Vicky’s mom is like after everything my son is being painted as the evil one and has lost it. Ankita’s mom ain’t dumb, she’s media trained and she wants this to work as it’s a matter of their future.
