Also, I am defending Abhira being a neutral viewer. I haven't even watched previous generation. I don't care whose daughter she was. Abhinav, Abhimanyu. I am seeing her through unbiased lenses - and for me she is still the sanest person in the whole family including Goenkas.

All in all, it was a good episode... but tbf I did skip a lot of scenes

The only thing that really annoyed me in this episode was when Armaan says sorry to Ruhi because Abhira called him her husband. Baigaraat & namoona

Chalo at least he didn't say to Abhira that time ki mai tumhara pati nhi hu he only ended up saying tum rude hi rahi ho ( hinting ki Rohit isn't there to pati wali baat may hurt Roohi - Mera interpretation toh yahi hai)

Yes she's is Superwoman for us but if she's wrong we'll call on it. Like we done many times like when they miss Rohit prayer or her answering Ruhi phone. Or yesterday Armaan was right it wasn't the time to discuss Abhira finishing school or working to dadisa after such a emotional confrontation

I'm not sure why this debate is going on or started but it's not making sense to me

She might be right, and the family wrong. But every family follow their own customs and have their own rules, it takes time to change.

But no Abheera wants everything instantly and if the family opposes she takes out the frustration on Armaan. How Is this fair!!

And if she is really independent, she can tell dadisa the truth about their contract marriage, opt out and stay alone and finish studies and become a lawyer. Why does she have to take all this from the family, she think is not hers.

Yes, customs and beliefs are deeply rooted in the family. It is not easy to reform rooted customs. It takes time.

@bold: she can very much do that but she won't. So she will continue to be battameez. Apparently, those behaviours can be overlooked as the gravity is not much.
