But I really doubt that she would have this counter argument when confronted by Zaid. Itna sense kahan makers ke paas. Need to just victimise Ayra na

She will not say that, actually. Mubashira will never question Zaid on this. As far as she's concerned, they have a deal. She agreed to him getting a second wife, he agreed to not divorce her. She never keeps that against him. She has gone through that pain and she doesn't bring up the humiliation and pain again. She has closed the chapter. That's one of the ways in which MJ is so un- Ayra- like.

I was just wishing Zaid revisits it some time and acknowledge he made a mistake blackmailing her like that. He used to treat her like 'any other random person ' , now he started being protective. Last episode when Asif commented on her being lucky and heavensent - Zaid actually agreed. 😂🤭Didn't catch it first time, I was shocked to notice it when I saw the clip. Slowly he's getting there and hopefully nothing will derail him.

Even if it was misleading about them being romantically involved in the show, there should be something behind that, isn't it? I mean if it was just Ayra and Zaid romantically involved which we are seeing & we hardly see Zaid & MJ together already.. So if Zaid & Ayra are going to be the endgame & if they were just using MJ as catalyst or just as a problem b/w these two, y would they promote it as Zaid & MJ's romance story? Bcz we didn't see any proper hate between Zaid & Mubashira either to say that haan MJ tried to create a rift & Zaid married her out of hate..

i think it’s just coz Zaid and MJ are probably endgame and they wanted to cash in on luring the audience using Wahaj and Ayeza. They’re popular.

Obviously the story itself does the romance zero justice. And in a way it was false advertising. Instead of a love story its some weird domestic thriller on crack that flips on itself every other episode 😂😂

audience was definitely fooled and the ost set different expectations - the show isn’t that at all. Even if Zaid MJ are endgame, the execution and focus is just off

There's a lesson to be learnt from Ayra's story. Even her bhaabhi disagrees with her and tells her where she's making the mistake. Still, she is like a bulldozer... Zaid is more than reasonable with her and he's eager to rebuild burnt bridges...it's high time she became an understanding partner....had she been that, MJ wouldn't have got a gap. MJ studied Ayra well - she elicited the self destructive reactions...in a way she did Zaid and Ayra a huge favour, highlighting Ayra's faults and deficiencies in the relationship much before they started a family together.

The only way Ayra and Zaid would have worked is in the scenario Zaid wanted. Them escaping his family and living off separately somewhere, making their own place independently. But Ayra wanted Asif to bow down at the time and give her respect. So she crossed out that option herself. Now, with Mj and Asif exerting their play and power in the house, Ayra’s ego is always going to get in the way of her own happiness. She’s her own worst enemy lol. Girl is on a self destructive path for sure.

I do think though that whatever happens with her now - with Zaid gone - it’s going to climax in a way which will finally be the turning point for Zaid to break away from his toxic father. His arc is basically about coming out of his dad’s shadow and any grief caused to Ayra might play a role in that. He left everything for her when she was being targeted by Asif before and now being unable to protect her in his own house can definitely be the trigger Zaid needs to grow a spine. He’s been docile way too long now.

Sadly I think it’s possible that MJ might again steal Zaids spotlight during the closure episodes. I really want Zaid to have a badass moment too and shine but I think chances of Mj being badass are more 😂 Zaid might remain a prop forever lol

Nobody is liking her character even hasan aamna said yesterday that her character isn't likeable enough though she is gone through a lot...and people are routing for mj instead of her..

She is just shoved down our throat smiley7they could have explored zaid mj dynamics, both of them have such contracting personalities..ego clashes, slowing falling in love phase would have taken this show to the topsmiley6

Exactly that's what I fear...

Even in mpht we were waiting for one episode where saad would take the lead and challenge areeb and get out of the situation but nothing like that happened..he kept bearing and tolerated sh#*

Even in this show, all of us are waiting for that one moment, one epi where zaid will explode and shine and we would get to see what all he has been going through, how hes been coping with the stress, how hes been handling the entire situation but sadly I don't think that's gonna come smiley6

Zaid stole this episode aisa sunne milega ki nahi iss show mein bhagwaan jaanesmiley13

Had Ayra been portrayed by a better actress , it would have been easier to root for her . She is supposed to be the proper heroine against MJ’s villain/antihero but no one is connecting with her. No matter how negative MJ is, everyone wants Zaid to be with her. This to me is the biggest failure of this show.

Right now, Ayra seems poised to explode regardless of whether Zaid supports or protects her. Probably she'd have exploded by the time Zaid lands back. Interestingly, Ayra doesn't trust him anymore too .. I don't know if she will give Zaid any scope to express his regret or angst.

Thing with Ayra is, her reactions are too extreme and destructive, Zaid ends up doing damage control more than protect her interests.

I don’t think that’s true. Right now the audience seems pretty polarized. There are the anti Mj people and the anti Ayra people - with one thing in common lol: being anti Zaid 😂

but given how the writing is showing Ayra slowly breaking and self destroying - I think the Zaid MJ endgame would make sense. But it all comes down to writing ultimately. Which has so far been very disappointing. Every episode seems to turn on its self, characters keep flipping, I’m sure lots of more twists to come.

More than Azeekahs performance or the lack of focus on the Zaid/MJ dynamic, I think the true disservice has been done to Zaids character. The writing has paid him zero attention. I have to keep reminding myself why these strong women even want a man like that lol - they’re so much better off alone 😂

Very true. Her actions speak of a person who hasn’t healed from her trauma and is slowly breaking - she’s going to snap pretty soon. As for trust, it makes no sense to me why someone who is a second wife would deliberately push her husband away into the arms of the other woman. I think it’s just a writing flaw. And on top of that they had Zaid tell her to keep quiet on the Rayaan issue. Which again, makes zero sense. Zaid in the past has gone to extremes to protect Ayra against harassment - fighting the goons at her house, leaving his entire family for her, reporting his dad to the police for harassment - even recently he had an appropriate reaction to the police officer harassing MJ - so yeah it’s definitely again a writing flaw and out of character for Zaid.

I guess the writer deliberately added this to make the Rayaan and Ayra track more troubling and disturbing - to make her feel alone in this. Which will only serve to increase Zaid’s guilt later on about not doing anything about it. It’s all very illogical if you think about it lol. Very situational writing. Nothing organic about it.

The most logical response would have been for her to call Zaid and tell him Rayaan came by again and was being icky so she’s going to her Bhabhi’s since it’s safer there. But the writer is not even having Ayra pick up Zaids calls lol. Nobody in Ayras difficult situation would NOT pick up her husbands call. Especially if she’s being harassed at home and if her husband is away with another woman. Makes zero sense lol. No matter how strained their relationship is, for her own protection and self preservation she needs to at least talk to Zaid.

So what can I say except that the writer is on crack lol
