That's why I said for better opportunities and about her ideal man. Actually, remember when she said equality that man was not okay. Gautam's problem is, that he wanna be the leader, and will never let his wife lead. He is that type of man (at least what I felt). He can't see a woman in the front line and if this wasn't fiction well it would be a loss for him just like Jayesh with Bhavani.

In Kerala both pongal and makar sankranti are celebrated in different ways - though their main festival is Vishu (April 14) and Onam (Aug-Sept). Guess all are harvest festivals. He is like that ... and for the same reason, Virat does take some subtle revenges with him. I am guessing making him pay the bill was because of how he was with Amruta. In a way though it felt like Virat is giving her a tough time, i think the opposite was happening - or at least something else other than giving her a tough time. Subtle 'power plays' all around in that scene.

btw, Ammu's look when he says 'doston ke saath baithta hu to itna bill aa hi jaata hai' ... dont know about other places but in Mumbai 'baithna' is a slang used for having a drink. But her look can even be for 'itna kharcha?'.

Yes, just saw the eps, Virat was not making fun of her but teasing her. Somehow, he loved that moment with the cutting chai but didn't want to admit it Plus the bill was def on purpose, he came on a date but didn't even think about Amu, and Virat realized it (I guess).

Btw yesterday, when he recognized Gautam and said "tum toh", Virat meant on the phone (at least what I felt).

Hmm... possible he connected him to the phone call. I had thought about the previous meeting though.

Also she signaled 2 sachets of sugar in the beginning but changed to one after Virat teasing her.

About today's eps, overall it was a beautiful one.

The date on Arjit urf Virat ke naam. Loved it. He is funny actually regarding his Sanju ref The waiter went straight to Amu when Virat said "Madam koh deh do", amazing , and those Gautam names. I also liked it when they sipped the tea together, aw!

Aai leaving was okay for me, and we know why they are dragging some scenes, they don't have enough eps and scenes because of the break. But this one was absolutely fine as it's hard to leave.

Virat- Shaky moment And only Virat is blind to not see what we and Shaky see. Love is already in the air.

And the last part I can't see Amu this sad, Aai did wrong but she will realize her mistake hopefully after this drama.

Mubarak ho, pehla eps without those A ladies, a relief
