Gautam is not negative. He wasn't meant to come back but they made him. In the first place, he was "interested" in Amu but then after the Jayesh truth came out, his family and he refused to be related to the Chitnis.

Thanks to Jahan, they met each other again (that first coffee date) but Amu was clear that she didn't want to marry him, but he was the one who changed his mind (hearing about VSA). Amu as we know only accepted later for her Aai's happiness. Plus, Gautam didn't like her mentality and was bothered by her answer to her ideal man at that time. VSA or not, Amu would've never marry such a man.

I agree with all, who said that this doesn't make sense. Ahuja's abhi Mumbai aye hai and everyone is behind them???!!!! Are they that known??? I guess we are assuming this too (Big Empire and one of the Richest families... Everywhere news about them). So, Gautam knows them. But phir bhi, you barely know your future wife-to-be and you are already dreaming on her boss??? No logic because it can also be a partial job, dude! Or anything else

Phir bhi, coming back to my first point, Gautam doesn't seem to be like Rajeev, he is less matlabi, using her for better opportunities only. He has no particular enmity with her.

Cafe scene was tp, funny. He had 2 new names for Gautam - Ganesh and something else (Gopi?). Of course, he would pull the chair for her, and of course she will tell I can do it myself.

Repeated the way of drinking tea from the last night... and many dialogues that only both of them know about. Both Gautam and Sanjana looked totally out of place. Gautam ended up paying the whole bill, Amruta was the first to leave. [Will be good if they dont take this Sanjana / Gautam right up to a wedding.]

But quite a lot happened in the cafe - why Virat did the things he did.

Bhavani gets confirmation of the document from Jayesh. Leaves during the night. For once i dont mind the woman / man dialogues, for at least its shown that she is choosing to believe in it foolishly.

Virat calls up Amruta in the night - when he actually wanted to call the driver.

Rest of the house wake up to Bhavani missing and find her note.

Decent ep overall. Felt Bhavani leaving took a bit too long... (kaafi footage khaya)... but was fine. Didnt reach the precap part at all.

At least they didn't forget about the paper part otherwise odd hota

Agree with you. Gautam is not full-blown negative. But selfish intentions toh hai na uske. He is saying he is interested in marrying Ammu, when actually he is not. That's dishonest behaviour. Of course, rajeev ke level ka nahi hai.

I only meant that he could have played a role in the story without being shown in the negative light of just wanting to use Amu.

The logic is obviously stupid. During the date, he was saying to Virat agar kuch financial advise chahiye toh. That is literally Amruta's job. Why will Virat ask him?? And how will getting close to him help his career. Clearly unka account dusre bank mei hai. Is the guy so delusional that he thinks he can get so close to Virat that he will convince him to change banks 🙄🙄 at this point, Gautam is plain annoying aur kuch nahi. I can't wait But mujhe toh laaga ke Lohri/Pongal was the same and Makar Sankranti was something else, someone please explain to me the dif.

I only know Makar is done in Maharastra (and some other region also) that I'm sure, Lohri is Punjabi...and Pongal Tamilian...Phir bhi Makar, kite wala celebration hai na?? It's dif, right?

Ishika has nothing to do in the show right now except when Jayesh's scene is there. And Ahuja House mein toh bilkul nahin unless because of the Reunion of Neighbors.

All are kind of same but from different locations / states and around the same dates. Lohri in Punjab and nearby places perhaps, Pongal in TamilNadu, Makar Sankrani in Gujrat, Maharashtra, think Rajasthan too ... In Kerala both pongal and makar sankranti are celebrated in different ways - though their main festival is Vishu (April 14) and Onam (Aug-Sept). Guess all are harvest festivals. Also the time when according to astrology, the Sun starts its northern movement (which has now changed to around 22nd Jan.) Yup - makar sankranti is kite festival.

Just a brief / basic description... opinions may vary - and someone else may be more correct. [Makar though is 'crocodile' or here the sign of Capricorn... and Sankranti is when sun moves from one sign to another.]
