Hate him- dislike him-loathe him -- but there are those fleeting instances of admiration when he is given dialogues like these as they are the reflections of how pathetic the titular character is....

She neither has the abusive ex sausral, nor her children, nor the guy who had worshipped the very grounds she had walked on or the foster child. Her mother and maykawalas were never in her "those who matter" list..

It would be okay still had she lost everything in a quest of finding her identity and pursuing independence. On the contrary, she is once again at the same point at which she had left Shah house. However, this time around she has actually lost everyone and everything worth devotion, love, respect and cherishing..
