The worst comeback for an A lister?- Page 4

Ponniyin Selvan - There is your answer. Lead role, also to the point of the entire series revolving around her character. And unanimous praise for her performance of a very complex character.

Plus, ADHM despite it being a supporting role, really was important. Romancing a younger guy and received acclaim for it.

Dangerous Ishq is the true comeback movie we didn't know we needed, or wanted, or could survive without.

Now that was atrocious!!!

In terms of her comeback, even though Jazba failed and Sarbjit underperformed, I still think she did pretty good as far as acting is concerned. I mean have you looked at the current crop of actresses Ash's worst is still better than their best

I will say though that her movie Fanney Khan did dent her a rep a bit and I am not sure if PS even helped her? I can't bring myself to watch both movies, it seems like she acted well and yet there is no recognition or hype about it.

I am also not sure where she will go from here. It does not seem like there will be much for her to do......

Well, let's face it, the reality is quite the opposite. Aishwarya trying to compete with 'current crop of actresses' Alia Bhatt or Tripti is almost comical. Aishwarya's so-called best can't hold a candle to Alia's underwhelming performances. And when you pit Alia/Tripti's stellar acts in Gangu Bai or Qala against Aishwarya's Jazbaa/Sarabjit, it's like night and day - just check out the reviews on india forums if you need a good laugh.

Sridevi is a rarity though as English Vinglish was a critical and commercial success!
