I dont think Armaan is thinking about his future with Ruhi, Ruhi as a partner is completely out of picture from his point of view. He is one character who as of now hasn't thought about his happiness at all , he doesn't wanted to go near Ruhi today but his family forced him and to please his family he went their.

I think he want to be a people pleaser so that , he can be burden free, it is his insecurities which is the reason he doesn't think he have rights on any one , either if it's even Rohit ,vidya or even Madhav. He thinks that he doesn't completely own them. If the story moves progressively which I think it would Abhira would be the first person on whom he would think he has complete rights and who is his own, that day we would see a completely changed Armaan,a more confident one, one who would fight for his happiness that is his wife.
