Yes writers are obsessed with Prem..But also that gaining trust could have been through anything that her mother taught her...they could have given him the dialogue ki " Tumhari maa kitni acchi Insaan hai" If they want to show Bhumi in a positive light here...

Look at this

Prem was born in the year 1975 and let's assume that Bhumi was also born in the same year

Now let's look at Kabir's birth certificate

Were Bhumi , Kabir's father and Prem only 13 years old when Kabir was born? Cause Kabir's year of birth is 1988 and he's 11 years older than Yuvika who was born in 1999

They can retcon Bhumi's birth year into 1968 and her being Kabir's mom would be justified

Kabir is 11 Years older than Yuvika, he can easily do Yuvika's Kanyadaan to Neil
