I dont think its fair to always drag AbhiM and compare Armaan with only him. Armaan is like other gen ML'S they all had good amount of toxic traits so the creatives are just repeating the same pattern.

No Ak Sr. And Naira didn't have parallel leads. In fact they brought in so many characters to stir jealousy in FL's instead.

Honestly, I don't think Armaan is that bad, at least not yet. Guy lived his whole life trying to please his Dadisa. And now Abhira has entered like a tornado and disrupted the false peace of Poddars. It will take time for Armaan to change his years long attitude and beliefs. If he don't grow with time, then it is fair to hate him. But right, the character is in initial stage and deserves a chance.
