I watched a few shows and the wife is always making tea.

I've seen shows where the men have to go somewhere on business and the wives have to pack their bags..

and today i watched Dooriyan, your run of the mill daily show and here the dude (Sami Khan with mummy issues..) was going away on business and his suitcase needed to be packed by a random guest in his house (female lead).. like she's not his wife or girlfriend or fiancée.. WTF..

this show was so problematic.. like someone who has nightmares and PTSD and shiz from childhood rape won't get cured by marrying them off .. and she freaks out on suhaaq raat.. Moustache Mikaal also gets emotionally manipulated into marrying this poor girl who needed proper therapy not a husband with a moustache...

and doesn't he go back and forth between the two wives at the end and one of them doesn't even know that he has another wife.. so she was getting sloppy seconds and didn't even know

Dooriyan - daily soap where Sami Khan is a successful businessman but has mummy issues and very low IQ..i don't even know how he manages to do anything, can't pack his own suitcase.. does this mean poor random girl (visitor of his grandmother) packed his underwear?

The song is the lifeline for sana. The song allows her to have nothing to do in the show except look sad and pretty with uncombed hair. All of her screenspace is that song.

that song plays and she walks in slow mo towards the kitchen and makes a drink then slow mo's back to her room to study some more.. they also show "gudiya" being love sick with this song.. and Ahsan Khan with his deer in the headlights expression..

The rest being that dad who i want to smack. Last episode he was telling his wife (while twisting her wrist) that you destroyed my life!!!... And i wanted to yell - what life??? You are like 80 and about to die!! What about your daughters life you destroyed. Ek paer kabar mein aur inko apni 'life' ki phikar hai.

Why can't we turn off bad shows.... Why are we so compelled to watch them?

The number of people who are watching sukoon and khumar (including me though i blame it on my mom ) is baffling
