What I find really interesting about IM is that how little conversation it generates despite being such a mega blockbuster. In terms of YT views, IM generates similar views as Tere Bin used to generate when it was on air. In terms of TRP, IM TRPs from week-to-week are higher than Tere Bin TRPs.
Yet audience engagement (beyond views) seems much less.
Like its comment to views ratio on YT is half of that of a bad show (with lower TRPs and YT views) like Mein.
On X, if I search for #IshqMurshid tag, the # of posts in the 48 hours following episode release would be significantly low compared to when Tere Bin was on air. In fact, there are more posts on Mein than on IM on X which I found baffling. Like where are the fan theories, posts discussing character relations, twitter spaces discussing the show, etc.
Also, in Tere Bin time, X was flooded with fan edits and vms but the IM fan edits or vms I see are barely a fraction of the # I saw when Tere Bin was on air. Even though the IM couple is being hailed for their chemistry, romantic moments, and then there is the killer OST.
What am I missing guys. Is there more content on IG or TikTok so I am just looking the wrong platforms? For a show as massive of a hit as IM (like I said it is at par with TB now in terms of popularity and may well exceed it in future weeks), why is there so little chatter about it?
Dure has quite less fans I guess. Also I have seen in insta that very few of Dure's fan pages are hyping up the couple, may be 2-3. And even if it happens then there will be barrage of comments saying she looks better with Danish.
Bilal's fan pages very few may be the top ones are hyping and making edits. So overall engagement is low.
Also, I don't see any dedicated couple fanpages unlike Yumna-Bilal, Yumna-Wahaj or Sahad.
