I have doubts on this. Although many sources mention it but still it sounds like the composition of a Rishi not a Rakshas.So, I finally got a chance to watch Nastik's Ramayan and they really surprised me by mentioning Shanta Devi and even though a dramatic episode, it was good to watch, let's hope they don't ruin it soon ( I know they will)
And they even showed Ravan composing Shiv Stuti (tandav stotram)
