I don't know where to share this but Srimad Ramayan won't be available on any ott or online platform. It will he only avaliable on cable TV and DTH. So there is no official way to watch it online. Maybe the only way to watch online is pirates sources.

Ravan's transition to Shiv bhakt was so abrupt . Could not feel the intensity and depth of his bhakti at all

As of now I'm only liking Dashrath scenes n nothing else.

Even the vaikunth scene where the actors playing Ram n Sita were formally introduced was meh. Not liking the casting of Devi Sita much. Hope she grows on me ..

Dasharath' s parents dying when he was merely 8 months old was a new learning. Had never heard this story before .

Besides Raja Dashrath and Ravan, every other character seems miscast.

I even thought Lakshmi was Prithvi Devi initially - she lacks divinity, (and some kaajal... looks like she just woke up)

Devtas all go to Vaikunth because of Ravan's atyachar, which so far has only been him usurping Lanka, and wearing dhoti shorts - they could have at least showed his cruelty and bad incidents as a build up. I agree even his bhakti transition was abrupt and choppy. Tandav was cringe.. and let me not start with doing taandav in the dhoti half-pant. This Ravan actor has presence and the look, but script and direction are horrible. His dialogue delivery is also more Shakil-ka-aadmi rather than prakhar vidwaan veda-gyaata mahapandit Dashanan

I appreciate them trying to include Kak Bushundi - but he seems to be everywhere. And his dance and gestures are cringeworthy. Why is he even doing an amazonian shamanic dance to send smoke signals up at the Putrakameshti yagya?

Thank Ram for some mercies though. I was really expecting directors would make Kak Bushundi to barge into Kaushalya's birth chamber singing "Bhaye pragat kripala"

Rishyashring is introduced as jamata, but no Shanta ! Even though Valmiki mentions that Shanta was at Ayodhya during Putrakameshthi, logically ....which lady would ever turn down a visit to her mayke. No budget for 1 extra actress ???

No characterisation for important cast: -

Kaushalya script only says smile.

Manthra sounds monotonous and is more a gaav ki Champa-bua than a plotting politically savvy antagonist.

Sumantra - blink and you miss him.

Vashisht - adds no gyaan or philosophy - Jabali has spoken more than him so far.

Mandodari is AWOL

I'm glad they're showing Kaikasi as positive - but again rushed and very superficial.

I'm gonna give this show 6 months max.

True. Tandav was really cringy .

Sita's casting is a real disappointment. Main leads did ot make an impact in the introduction scene itself.

I think the actor playing Ram has some calmness and serenity on his face , but I too didn't like devi Sita's casting
