Which pair do you like more? NeiVika or Neil-Miraya?
I have read somewhere that in OG version it is written that even Dushasan's son was killed in the same way as Abhimanyu and it was one of the rule to fight in a group, is true preet di??
And about DJ's involvement in VH then they could not have avoided it, he is Duryodhana's parallel here and simone, feels like his karna so they needed to included both of them in it, but I believe they should have avoided the track, I wanted them to create the better version of MB but what more can you expect from Nastik
this reminds me that they have recreated Arjun-subhadra's marriage here🤭Originally posted by: HarshadThakker

Not Dushhashan's son, Karna's son Vrishasena was killed in nearly the same way
Aside Abhimanyu wasn't killed in group, he was attacked in group but finally he was killed in an one to one combat by Dusshashan's son
I dont think they could have avoided VH here
This was really confusing about Duryodhan, what part do you think he was misunderstood
I mean I understand every antagonist can have a positive side and Duryodhan had his too, but calling him misunderstood, I really would like to understand more
misunderstood in the sense ki some time audiences misunderstood him , in the book Mahabharata everything is fineOriginally posted by: FlauntPessimism

Or you can say some Bengalis have a soft spot for villains like madhusudan dutta wrote "Meghnad badh" kabya grantha from Meghnad and Ravana's POV where they were Heros and Ram was villain 😂

There is a book Ajay-Rise of Kali, Duryodhan's Mahabharat(book 2)
by Anand Neelakantan..
I found it amazing...It is written in a very fascinating manner...
It humanizes Duryodhan( or Suyodhan) in a very real manner...you feel for him & realise that hero & villain toh perception ka hi Khel hai..
Though you won't agree with some of it...
But it was a good experience for me...
Preet Dii have you read this?

See I understand what you are saying, we can write from anyone's POV, but a person who plans to murder his cousins as a child and continue doing that throughout, try to molest a girl(Gandharva girl in Gossala Yatra, not talking about Draupadi here since you might say she was his slave) and what not, can we really call him "misunderstood"?
I am no fan of Pandavas and often say Yudhisthir was worse than Duryodhan, but Pandavas being bad, doesn't make Duryodhan a better or misunderstood person

Ajaya is a fictional book with many useless items added into it most of which has nothing to do with Mahabharata at all.
It has Duryodhan denying to shoot the bird during a competition so that it is not hurt, nothing in Mahabharata ever suggests that
It made him some epitome of social equity who tried to reduce caste imbalance in society angering Brahmins though Duryodhan (or for that matter) even Karna was hugely casteist.
It also brought a Duryodhan Subhadra love angle out of nowhere (not even realizing that it wasn't even possible and that Subhadra was at least 12 years younger to Duryodhan)
That shows like Duryodhan was misled by Shakuni (as in most shows) to do wrongs, though if he had actually listened to Shakuni he would have been much better, and probably Mahabharata wouldn't have happened at all..
Seeing reading and enjoying fictional books is one thing but making it a base for feelings about mytho/historical characters is different
