No I don't think KBC or advertisements are his hobby or passion. He is doing it for money and being occupied.

People must invest in some activity which is purely for self pleasure (no, not sex😂)

KBC is going to suffer because of his absence. They should increase his remuneration

Agreed . Also I think he’s scarred from the experience he had once when he did try to hang his boots and ended up almost going bankrupt ….

I think a big blow like that completely grounded him and if you see his interviews he says it taught him to never take things for granted and keep working till there is work….heck he dosent even believe in taking a break after that ..
He has his flaws but AB snr is a beast when it comes to work, effort and career

I don’t even watch KBC but in my mind KBC means Amitabh Bachchan. If I feel this way, it’s not hard to imagine how the actual viewers will feel. :(

Its just season finale , i am sure will return next year.

I'm sure he'll be back..it would have been a different thing if he was retiring from all work... But this is like his easiest work.... As for sony this is the only show off theirs that works..

Actually, I don't believe that it is a question of being "allowed"...

To me, it doesn't make a difference if Abhishek acts in an OTT movie or a theatre movie...I want him to enjoy acting as long as he gets roles...Ghoomer e.g. is a wonderful movie and personally, I love Abhishek in many roles he played
