No, he was a tik toker before joining TV. I saw a few of his childhood picture, he appeared to be from lower economical strata. In the show, he appears to not know the meaning of basic English words and his pronunciation is sh*t. But he does have a lot of supporter as he's emotional and people can connect to his emotionally charged broken-heart guy persona.
