Even the jewelry reflected the nature of the families. Chitnis' jewelry was all gold as their hearts and the Ahujas were all glaring/ over grandeur'd like them, not pleasing to the eyes.

Is it not odd that Jayesh has no feeling at all towards his children. Them taking their mother's side does not mean that the relationship between him and them should change. He can be shown having some feeling of remorse in private. Ishika has no right to behave badly towards Amruta/Bhavani entering their personal boundaries.

Writer should have chosen a stronger reason for Amruta to be linked to the Ahujas. Seeing the extent of Babita's hatred towards Amruta, there is no reason for her to be be continuing to work there like a maid. Glad that they have started showing a bond between Virat's dad and Amruta.

5th week is also over.

Hearing / reading many are switching channels on TV or ff when watching online, this means KMTMG crew has still lot to do course correction related to Ahuja's & Shekawat's as scenes/plots/characters/cast aren't still emotionally connecting well. Little solace only with Virat's father showing some maturity, thoughtfulness & business mind this week and getting some lines to speak.

I repeat the MORE screen time these two families get onscreen in an episode, the less can be audience attention spans, for this 7 days telecast show.

KMTMG team has to quickly come out of this stale template, every week two parties/functions & costume parades with ott drama, blame games & humiliations, then sorry state. This is a NEW fiction show, adapting old long running fiction shows parties templates within 1st month of launch wasn't right move, that too without putting enough writing & presentation efforts in organically building viewers attachment to characters & families. Feel both channel & PH teams have faltered here.

South Delhi rich influential socialite business families (which Ahuja's boast about verbally) have some class, sophistication & respect, whether they are shown as some loud Punjabi's or not which is unfortunately NOT visible onscreen for viewers to absorb & connect, whether in characters/situations/scenes/dialogues/styling from 1st week till 4th week of KMTMG.

Same goes with Shekawat's..

Shekar is an important character of a childhood friend cum secretary who is not from rich background. Casting could have been better to show some youthfulness & proper comedy timing, as same age aide to Virat.

Even if Ahuja's with Shekar & Shekawat's are sent back to Delhi for couple days for some shopping or some function, feel Chitnis story in A block can comfortably run in Mumbai with more relatable plots to engage viewers with some other A block working class characters.

Plus KMTMG creatives & writers may get some time off to rework on character sketches & plots involving Ahuja's, to make corrective changes once they are shown returning to Mumbai to their lavish pent house in B block. What say?

Week 5 has been slightly better on the Ahuja family side - at least something other than 'we are partying today too cause we can'. There were a couple or more scenes that involved them in what can be called 'family moments'.

Virat-Dad scene was good - let people know there is at least one sane person in that house. Comparatively the Babita-Aunt-Nimrit scene wasn't - they haven't shown the 'compulsion' as to why they 'have to' get her married to Rajeev. One impression I had after that convo was 'doesn't look like Nimrit would want to marry after what her mom said'. Not liking it that they have to bring in Amruta in their dialogues. In the dad-Virat one it felt on place but on the other, it wasn't.

Shekhawats... I dont mind whats going on.. perhaps the only complaint is that it could've come after a better (or proper) buildup of characters ... a little bit later.
