Rishta is a brand in itself. It survived Karan-Hina's exit. So, comparatively Harshad's presence never really mattered

Also, actors certainly do not bring in trps. But well-written characters do

Gen 1 was full of it

Gen 2 had two of them Naira-Karthik, I mean they faltered now and then. But overall, the audience felt connected to them

It is also the reason Abhinav's presence provided stability to Gen 3. Trp never went down below 2.2

Gen 4 is an Abhira Sharma show. She is front and center of it all. All the tracks are revolving around her. The audience has certainly warmed up to her.

There wouldn't be a need to create stories if one has good sources!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

You might not like abhinav (for whatever reason) and fair enough, we can all have our choices and opinions on whom we connect with more, but you cannot deny for a character brought in one year after the show, abhinav did get lot of love from audience.

He was parallel lead, he definitely was brought in only as a cameo, not disagreeing. Also Abhimanyu is the main lead, not saying abhinav is the lead. I just meant he was bought as a cameo and then because a lot of people did like Abhinav, he turned into a parallel lead.

I am not stating my opinions I am saying what Makers said. Rajan Shahi the producer of the show in an exclusive interview that was around Abhinav's exit said he was a great Cameo. Whom am I to say anything on this.

I don't understand the issue of calling a Cameo a Cameo.

Some liked the character some didn't Simple doesn't change the fact that he was a Cameo.

Probably the problem was that the audience was actually almost equally divided for Abhira Vs Akshnav.

The makers had reached a stage wherein they couldn't solely rely on only one audience for their TRPs, that's why they were trying to oscillate akshara between the two till the end.

However, i don't think they will do the same mistake again.

Because if Abhinav was fully accepted by the audience, there was no need to kill him off, plus Jay has good relations with RS.

But somwhere RS couldn't really rely on Akshnav fans probably, hence they killed him off, and tried to focus on Abhira, which also did not get accepted by audience, and execution just became worse. So Gen leap happened.

ya hope the haters didnt praise him unnecessarily in 1St kasauli track in hate of leads ,then their ego wouldnt had blown so much to change the full story ,then may he could had been retained as a friend for longer,or given parallel track with arohi then he wouldnt had to leave suddenly ,they could had kept both character in new season also

but post abhinav death when did they go back to abhira,who gives fl confession on husband death if they wanted abhira,they could had easily turned it from there akshara not in love with nav,if they wanted abhira,truth is they never wanted abhira,in their ego their story got rejected,so they never made akshara realise where she went wrong,they treated as though abhir was biological son of nav and abhimanyu step father, that was rejected
