So in the whole of America Anupama arrives in ‘New York’ (I have to mention here attempt at the fake US city and fake Americans is a failure) and Anuj is in the same city and same area and his girlfriend goes to the same cafe

This is so far fetched and beyond any sense of creative liberty

Agreed but VanRajan TamaShahi and his team do not possess any creative talent in the first place to even take liberties with.

They take maximum liberty with the audience's patience, insulting their viewers every way possible and especially in making a fool out of those who have high hopes from Anupamaa

I suspect they'll bring it up later as Devika's attempt to reunite Anuj and Anupamaa by knowingly sending her to the same place. Devika is quietly becoming the real villain of the serial, I think. 😂

Not only that the girlfriend is too much interested in Anupama. Had I been in her place I would have literally left after seeing her unhygienic getup.
