That's just shows how any situation, different people take different viewpoints :) cos I didn't find Ananya honest at all in that game but found her putting down sara very much.

Flimi ppl are definitely not middle class financially and some may not be super rich even but more than middle class. Moreover they get lot of freebies which common ppl won't get.

Also imo middle class too have levels. Cos I know many families in my circle who travel abroad and call themselves middle class. My take is travelling abroad doesn't make anyone rich as ppl travel and stay at reasonable hotels and expenses are accordingly. Major expense is air travel, rest all can be budgetted, this from my own experience.

Just finished watching kwk of Ajay and Rohit Shetty. In that Ajay was saying our household have middle class attitude. Rohit agreed his too. Ajay said yes they have more now but still attitude is middle class. Somehow that makes sense. As i remember once kjo telling about Kajol purse needs to have pocket on the outside area and he had given her designer purse but there was no pocket so she was upset as outside pocket is needed to go out, lol I agree cos outside pocket is very much needed, so useful ..this only middle class ppl can understand. Same way Jhavi had said Sara book hotels which have discounts on kwk.

So basically like we all, she likes all things good but she is not super rich so she values money, always got this from Sara.

About mentioning multiple times about designer bag, so what?? She was trolled so she wanted it clear.

Like I wrote different takes on one matter we all will have :)

In Bollywood it seems tricky, because there is so much showing off, but I really like your take on Ajay and Rohit Shetty's comments. I didn't even think of that and didn't understand them lol I heard Ramit Sethi mention once that sometimes people's approach towards money does NOT change no matter how rich they become. He gave an example of a rich couple, who were so afraid to spend money, even though they were extremely well-off. I might be misquoting, but his comment sort of stuck with me. These stars appear so well-off, but maybe their approach towards life and money is still the same, as their younger days when they didn't have as much.

I too found AP very fake-nice on KWK!!! Like the kind of mean girl who is nice to you on your face, but as soon as you turn around, will be very bitchy- SRK himself was poor to begin with, and SAK is from the Pataudi family lol, so the comparison is off to begin with- But I too know tonnes of people who call themselves middle-class & travel abroad- If you’re upper-middle class (b/c absolutely yes, especially in a country like India, the middle-class has several levels to it) it isn’t hard to do.

While SAK must exaggerate all this for good PR, and she very much is a PR product, I don’t find her as fake as her contemporaries. She’s intelligent (though she dumbs that down for BW), she’s very articulate in English AND Hindi (none of her peers are even well-spoken in English!!!! Forget Hindi!!) She’s extremely funny etc. She’s the best of that lot. She’s don’t feel she fakes her “middle-class” attitude entirely. Even Jhanvi kept complaining about the very cheap hotel SAK booked for them on their trip etc. KJo also mocked her. Don’t think it’s totally fake.


Always loved SAK, warts & all. Ananya & Jhanvi come off as stupid & extremely bitchy, esp AP.

Yes she is Pataudi but while growing up read Amrita alone brought them up as Saif didn't support then.. so financial crunch must have been felt. Ekta had given role to Amrita in her serial. Yes Jhanvi and kjo had teased her about booking cheap so definitely she spends with caution. Now currently am sure Srk will be more wealthy than Sara + Amrita.

@Petri.. oh yes there are many who are careful with money even when they are well off and then there will be others who spent beyond means. All kinds of examples
