PK Was the 1st time corporate booking mentioned. In video he saying it’s not illegal because one is buying tickets initially n then people seeing it n it becomes a hit so it’s still a hit. He mentioned here on drishum2 ( a movie I liked and then Pathan as examples. Then compared it to shares he says shares not legal but buying one’s own tickets is legal. Thats the summary in the video

This sorta practice is as old as the hills. Previously it used to be called ticket tearing. Look at this write-up from 2000 where Nahta accuses Govinda and Ajay of buying tickets for their own films.

There should be a regulatory body so all these speculations can rest but who is to say that Karan Johar wouldn't buy it, like they buy verdicts from box office India for their movies?

But Vanga brothers made it big with 2 Bollywood movies and collections for both were big, is he saying Bollywood did corporate booking to inflate collections of Kabir Singh and Animal?

The difference between official figures of Salaar and trade figures of Salaar is 100cr

There are trackers across industries, if one wants to see if numbers are being inflated they can just check numbers from 5-6 trackers and match it with producer figures

I personally trust Comscore and box office mojo, both are international trackers and even Disney couldn't bribe them
