The point of fan was that a lookalike gets obsessed and then starts hating an actor after the fan thinks what he did was actually supposed to be appreciated.

So if you cast Aish and Sneha (Sneha hi tha naa whom Salman launched?) then sure.

Aish played a famous singer in Fanney Khan, kisiko yaad bhi hai woh movie?

I'm sorry who? I have never heard of this person and one simple Google search showed me that this individual has no reason to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Aishwarya. One a goddess, and one a mere mortal with not even looks to elevate her. And you would have Aishwarya's role recast by this simpleton? I think not. Aishwarya is not recast by anyone.

Please speak only for yourself. Aish fans never forget her films and the entire global community consists of Aish's fans so there is no danger of Fanney Khan being forgotten. Filmfare was not good to Aish that year by snubbing her. They knew that if they nominated her, they would have to award her, and they cannot justify giving her more deserved awards because it would anger Big B and Jayaji if their bahu has more awards than their laadla son.

Anyone who is cast to play her fan would not need to act. Audiences would not need to dispel their disbelief that this icon of cinema is so beloved that someone would loose all their senses out of love/obsession.

so you think srk had no such fans like aish ?

Anyway, it doesn’t need to be like that. Srk played a character. Anyone can play a superstar and his fan. They necessarily don’t need to be one.

She is his female equivalent in terms of superstardom after Sridevi. Female stars are more inclined to have psychos and fanatics obsess over them that is why I think Aish would have been perfect casting but SRK was perfect casting for the male version.
