Hirani has been accused of sexual assault. His last film, also with Ranbir, white-washed a literal terrorist and had a lot of misogynistic tropes disguised as comedy. Similar stuff in 3 Idiots and Munnabhai. Women in most of his films are set decoration at best. If you start sitting and calling out every Bollywood film and director, good luck to you.

I couldn't tell that it was roasting reading the text. But the talking style was definitely an impersonation of Anupama Chopra. I never really expected Baradwaj Rangan to roast a critic this way.

The joke in reference was shit. And the movie humor was flat - I did not laugh like I did in 3 Idiots or PK.

Oh, but the sweet irony of the kind of accounts latching onto this calling out of a misogynistic fat-shaming joke.

Vanga made a whole movie to get their attention, now crying since they've given it.

Vanga is gonna be the next Sajid Khan, who had sold his movies with the USP "critics mere baal bhi baanka nahin kar sakte." USP doesn't stay unique after 2-3 films. Vanga would also see the same fate as Sajid's.
