That's the most selfless thing anyone has done for anyone in the show so far. There was no pressure of threat of divorce. She did it to protect his honour even if she had to suffer for it. Mub may not know why exactly she's doing what she's doing, but she's doing things no one would do.

Exactly he should have spoken to MJ before deciding MJ will host and also about inviting Jaffar .
It felt more like yielding to aira wishes and somewhere pushing MJ buttons than trying to keep all parties happy

Actually if Mub chose to get one up on Ayra this is exactly what she would have done. It's a great opportunity to save her face, hosting this rather than go into hiding. Good for her she wouldn't dream of it and Ayra chose it as a punishment for her, convincing Zaid this was the best way to put her in a respectable position too. She's simply going to ace it and Zaid most probably will have no problems because he intended for her to shine when he listened to Ayra. Likewise, going to Jafar- he's giving this two wife situation respect in everyone's eyes and this includes giving equal importance to the first and second wife. In the promo, Zaid also tells Mubashira that compromising is not in her nature. I can’t figure out if he’s praising her growth or if he’s calling her out. Has he figured out that she’s faking it? The way he kept watching her and waiting for a reaction in the last episode makes me believe that he isn’t just taking her at face value. I don’t know.

I felt she was, here. She doesn't need 5o act in front of Asif. It was a personal favour Said requested and she couldn't refuse him. She might have started this as a game, but she is enjoying this phase with Zaid where he's not shouting at her or accusing her.

Yes, Zaid is still scrutinizing her. The look.after 'anything for you ' went through few phases...shock, elation, disbelief...he settled at 'whatever' finally, I think. So yes, he might be testing her response too partly, like he was carefully checking out her reaction at the card. Part of him acknowledges he has been mean to her, but he won't allow her to use it to blackmail.him.

In the precap it looked like he was acknowledging her efforts in a formal way. She ventured into his room to ask some favour of him too, probably. It's not a nice scene to watch- Zaid settled in his room and having tea while she knocks on the door. I think Zaid would have agreed since he has to be fair to her.

Zaid has to be fair to her. He sort of made a promise to not divorce her and he cares for her enough to ask 'all good?'.

Aira is damn irritating

What if Ayra becomes pregnant, then what will MJ do. This Zaid thinks MJ is not a human , who has no feelings and can be played around as he wishes . I so wish that he be taught a good lesson.

I think Zaid was waiting for some kind of reaction from MJ in the last episode but didn’t get one. So is he assuming she’s fine? I don’t think he feels responsible at all for the current situation. He didn’t want two wives. He wanted to divorce Mubashira and to be honest that probably would have been the best decision for everyone involved - it wouldn’t be entertaining but the right decision especially for MJ. He made an impulsive decision to marry her but his father created misunderstandings that led to this decision. Once he learned the truth he wanted to rectify the situation. He didn’t need to treat MJ horribly though but however unreasonable, he blamed her divorce for setting all this in motion.

You could tell he felt no guilt in front of Jaffer. He knows Jaffer put his father in an uncomfortable position by proposing that Zaid marry MJ. Jaffer actually did do this by saying I convinced my son so you can convince yours. Terrible decision on Jaffer’s part, instead convincing his daughter that she is a complete person and doesn’t need a husband to prove anything to the world, he kind of twisted his friend’s arm into this. Maybe it’s just me but I also feel like Zaid secretly resents Mubashira because both the fathers listen to everything she says but his opinion doesn’t matter. Now he’s learning to use that to his advantage.

Honestly the day Mubashira understands her self worth, she will walk out of this marriage unless she catches some real feelings.

I do think Mubashra will walk out in the end. The shows title is Mein for a reason. I am hoping that by that time zaid falls deeply for him so that he gets what he deserves.

Zaid is probably the one character whose point of view we don’t get. We get Mubashira’s perspective, her feelings, her insecurities and her vulnerabilities. It’s much easier to emphasize with her and easier to forgive her shortcomings. I can even emphasize with Ayra although she annoys me. The only reason I don’t want her to end up with Zaid is because I don’t feel like she ever loved or respected him. It was always one-sided. I feel like if she had treated him well at the beginning of the relationship, I would probably overlook everything she is doing now and would be rooting for her. Even though I’m not rooting for her and Zaid to be endgame, still I don’t believe she deserved what Zaid’s dad put her through. I don’t mind her getting her revenge from Asif but I don’t think her plan will allow her to do that and keep Zaid. He left home, made it on his own and was going to divorce MJ. She would have had him all to herself and someone pointed out on here, she would have had her revenge as well by taking Asif’s son away from him. She let her ego get in the way, created conditions where he had to go back home and the only way to do this was if he remained married to MJ. Now Ayra has to put up with being a second wife or sacrifice Zaid to get her revenge. She can’t have both.

I think it would be an interesting concept if Zaid ends up falling for MJ but for her it’s all still a game. I feel Zaid has never felt prioritized by his family so he will definitely gravitate towards MJ now.

Like Mubashira relies on staying married to prove her self worth, I feel like Zaid believes it’s Ayra that gives him his self worth by making him feel that sense of belonging that he badly craves. She’s never prioritized him and has actually been so dismissive in the past with him, but I think his need to fill that sense of loneliness clouded his judgement. I think he likes that she’s fighting for him now because she’s never done that before, but that’s probably mostly because she’s competing with MJ and has nothing to do with Zaid 😂
