Armaan’s character has been written with polar opposite traits. 1) He has been overtly sweet and caring to Abhira with whom he does not share any relationship from the heart.The way he behaves with her can win him the best husband award in tv world. He seems to be more loving than husbands who are in love marriage. It is hard to believe he is the same person who did not take even 2 minutes to reject marriage to Ruhi whom he is supposedly in love with. 2) He has been shown to very mature when handling Abhira and explained to her how to behave maturely. on the otherhand he himself behaves immaturely with Ruhi when repeatedly trying to justify his every move with Abhira. It was his biggest blunder to give Ruhi hope that his husband duty with Abhira is only for 1 year. Even if Abhira ends relationship after 1 year what was the need for him to give Ruhi hope.3) He shows so much courage to face Dadisa for Abhira but he cannot stand up for himself and neither could stand up for his love( Ruhi). All these contradictions cannot exist in a real person simultaneously.
